Well, the weather is getting much cooler.  Had two days of FROST again.  Had some rain too and a lot of wind, but that’s always here.  Did have some sun, but not much to keep things warmed up.  I see the pumpkins are out of the gardens and are being carved and painted for Halloween, along with some decorations.  Furnaces will be running full blast these cold days.  I wonder if we will get Indian Summer this year.  Or……did we already have it.  The hummingbirds have all left.  Haven’t seen any the last week or so.  They went where it’ll be warm for them.  

St. Vladimir’s Church has pierogies for sale the first and third Sunday of the month from Noon to 1 p.m. at the Church Hall.  Call 570-928-8909 to order yours.

Not a whole lot going on with the Covid still around and cases going up even in Sullivan County.   Makes it hard to try and plan activities when you can’t do anything.  There will be NO Halloween party this year.  Just can’t take the chance.  I know many will be disappointed, but it is what it is.  Hopefully next year all this will be behind us and we can start fresh and all will be good.

I guess hunting has started again.  Be aware of the hunters out and about and stay away from the woods as much as you can during this time.  Good luck to all you hunters.

Civic meeting will be on Wednesday, the 21st, 6 p.m. at the Township Building.  Please wear a mask. 

You can still support the local businesses while you can.   Never know, Wolf may try and close things down again if the numbers keep going up.  Everyone has to do their part in helping to get rid of the virus.  Wear the mask, practice social distancing and wash your hands often.
