October 27, 2021
Hope you all had an an enjoyable week. We had some rain, had some wind, even had some frost, along with some nice, warm sunshine. Sunday was pretty cold and I don’t think the temperature went up past 55 degrees. I saw a map on FB that says we are to have a mild winter. We’ll see what happens but hope it’s right.
The Halloween decorations are still looking pretty nice. I heard there were a few Halloween parties and hope they were well attended and everyone had fun. Still more to come this weekend, so take part and enjoy.
St. Vladimir’s Church has pierogies for sale, the first and third Sunday of the month. Please call 570-928-8909 to order. Pick up is from Noon to 1 p.m. at the Church Hall.
Hope everyone is ok and the flu bug hasn’t caught up to you. Maybe with the cold weather coming, it will kill all the flu germs and all virus bugs.
Haven’t seen many birds around so don’t know if it’s too early or they are taking their time to find the feeders. Haven’t seen or heard any geese so far either.
Happy Birthday to Makayla Day, 27th; Lydia Spinosa, 28th; Leo McDonald and Misty Pequignot, right on Halloween. Hope you all have a nice day.
Happy Anniversary to Marty and Dee Whatley as they celebrate on the 27th. Hope you have a great day.
That’s it. See you next time. Enjoy your week. Have news call me at 570-028-9238; snail mail me; see me; or e-mail me at news@lopezpa.com, before 6 p.m on Sunday evening. I will get it in for you. Thanks for reading. Comments always appreciated.
