Good day to all. Hope you enjoyed your week. Wasn’t too bad, except for the weekend. Saturday we had a few down pours and Sunday was cold, windy and nasty. I guess this is the weather we have to expect for this time of year. Hopefully we will get a few more warm days. Maybe Mother Nature will be kind to us yet.
In my walks around town, I see the Halloween decorations going up. The witches, pumpkins, spooks and all look really good. Even saw a pumpkin in the form of a snowman. Leaves are mostly gone now since we had some good wind the past few days and the color isn’t nearly as nice as it was last year.
Halloween party at the Pavilion on Halloween night at 6 p.m. Get your outfit and mask ready and come have a good time. Prizes and goodies too.
St. Vladimir’s Church has pierogies for sale the first and third Sunday of the month, Noon to 1 p.m. Please call 570-928-8909 to order yours.
B’s Gang sends deepest sympathy to the Bill Stasiak family on the recent passing of Rhonda. She was a good wife, mother, grandmother and friend who enjoyed life. R.I.P., “Roda”. You will be missed.
Civic meeting on Wednesday, the 20th, 6 p.m. at the Township Building if it’s too cold at the Pavilion.
Check the Sully for any activities that may be coming up. Still time to take them in, if you’re interested. There’s always some kind of hunting season, but I don’t hunt, so don’t really know the details. Things will slowly be winding down. With Covid still on the rise, remember to wear your mask, practice the social distancing and wash your hands often. Someone mentioned they hope things will be back to normal soon and another person responded that they don’t think it will ever be the way it once was. We can only hope. I hope everyone is healthy and not bothered with the flu or Covid.
