Hope you all had an enjoyable weekend. Weather wasn’t bad at
all. Saturday and Sunday were really nice after a cool start. The
week is to be pretty warm and good also. The leaves are changing and
slowly falling off the trees. Little early but with all the rain, I
guess that didn’t help. I haven’t seen geese going South yet, but
probably soon.
Bill and Linda Pfeiffer, Hughesville, visited Bob and JoAnn
McGuire on Sunday. Pleasant time for all and was so nice to see them.
The peanut butter fudge she made and brought is delicious.
Halloween is on the horizon. Got you costume ready? Civic
Association will have their annual Halloween party on the 31st, 6 p.m.
at the Pavilion. Treats and prizes.
Next Civic meeting will be on Tuesday, the 16th, 6 p.m. probably
at the Township Building.
Darway is planning a Fall Festival on Oct 20th from 1:00-5:00.
This will include face painting, a clown, pumpkin painting, games,
small animals, “Trunk or Treating” starting @ 4:00.
St. Vladimir’s Church has pierogies for sale. To order, call 570-928-1099.
Bob and JoAnn McGuire visited his family in Forty Fort on Sunday.
This included Lola and Mike Mattie; Georgia, Michael and Mcguire
Martin. Got some Halloween decorations done and had a good time while
there.
Happy Birthday wishes to Brad Hubiak and Bob Burke, 14th; Josh
Anderson and Ken Smith, 17th; and Marie Cikovic, 19th. Have a nice
day.
Happy Anniversary to Ted and Fay Puzo as they celebrate on the 14th.
Have a nice day.
