Weather wasn’t too bad last week. We did have frost and fog early mornings. Wind is always with us. Sunday was a miserable, cold, raw day with heavy rain in the early evening. I know we do need the rain.
Have seen some turkeys and deer in the field. I know hunters are out and about but don’t know if they’ve caught anything yet. Good luck.
Not much to report. Don’t go too many places. Covid has everything screwed up for now. Hopefully it will end soon and we can get back to some sort of normal life. Just wear the mask, practice social distancing and wash your hands. Support the local businesses as much as you can.
With the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays coming, it’s very hard not to be able to gather and celebrate. It is what it is and we have to the best we can virtually or by phone.
St. Vladimir’s Church has pierogies for sale the first and third Sunday of the month, from Noon to 1 p.m., at the Church Hall. Call 570-928-8909 to order yours. Will be great for the Holidays.
The last Civic meeting for 2020 was held on Wednesday, the 18th. Watch the Sully for the next meeting in 2021. Membership dues are still being taken by Heather McDonald. See her to renew or join.
Happy Birthday wishes go to Serenity Laird and Reese Baton, 23rd; and Cassidy Brown, 30th. Have a nice day.
That’s it for now. Enjoy your week, whatever your plans. If I’ve missed your news, give me a call at 570-928-9238; mail me; see me; or e-mail me at news@lopezpa.com. I will get it in for you. Thanks for reading and I’ll be here next time.
