WOW!! There sure was frost on the pumpkins, and everywhere else, this past week, with temperatures in the teens. Some days it warmed up some, some days didn’t get past 45 degrees. Sunday afternoon it did hit 53 degrees. Last I heard, the week is to be pretty good with temperatures in the 60’s. That would be nice. Sure not ready for cold and the “white” stuff just yet.
Did you remember to turn your clocks one hour behind on Sunday morning. I’d rather it stay the way it was and not be doing this.
Was nice to see Scott Aharonian, Narvon, when he stopped for a short visit while spending the weekend at his home on Dutch Mountain.
St. Vladimir’s Church has pierogies for sale, the first and third Sunday of the month, from Noon to 1 p.m., at the Church Hall. Call 570-928-8909 to order yours.
Next Civic meeting will be on Wednesday, the 17th, 6 p.m. at the Township Building. Membership dues are now due. See Heather to renew or to join.
Hope everyone is doing well and not dealing with the flu and Covid. I guess it’s still a good idea to wear your mask, practice social distancing and wash your hands often. No clue when this will finally be over with.
Happy Birthday wishes to Aiden Sperry, 13th; Alek Laird and Mike McDonald, 19th. Have a nice day.
Happy Anniversary to TJ and Alison Lowden as they celebrate on the 17. Have a great day and many more.
Veterans Day is coming up on Thursday, the 11th. Thank a veteran for their service to keep us free. We also think of those who are not with us as they paid the ultimate price for our freedom.
Good luck hunters. I guess ’tis the season. Hope you get whatever you’re going after.
