Well, the weather is still not cooperating at all.  It’s been cold, wet, damp, windy and not so comfortable.  Saturday was about the best day.  I thought it was to take a turn for the better, but doesn’t seem that way. 

Bob and I spent the weekend in Forty Fort with his sister, Mike and Lola Mattie.  We attended the NEPA Mineral, Fossil and Gem Show, held in Pittston, where UVBOB did the fluorescent mineral presentations.  Was a fun time and great crowd.

Along with Bob and I, thanks to Clair Johnson, Heather, Kaeleigh and Kyleigh McDonald, we all got the park clean up done and ready for mowing, if the weather gets nice enough to do it.  Pretty we right now.  Gotta have a talk with Mother Nature about it.

Third period honor roll is out.  Distinguished Honors includes Kyler Burke and Aaron Kinsey.  Honor roll includes Charles Armioria, Joey Malkemes and Matthew Hetsko.  Congratulations to all of you.

Due to Election Day being on Tuesday, the 21st, the Civic meeting will be on WEDNESDAY, the 22nd, 6 p.m. at the Township Building.  Please do get out and VOTE.

The humming birds are back.  We put our feeder out one day last week and within a half hour they had found it.  The neighbors have their out and have them also.  Love to watch them.  Fascinating little birds.

Sunday is Mother’s Day.   I hope everyone has a great day.

HINT:  With the warmer weather (hopefully) coming and kids out in the sand box, mix a cup of cinnamon with the sand.  It helps to repel ants, flies, centipedes and even the neighborhood cat.
