JULY 24, 2019
Hope you all had a nice week, even with the heat and humidity and the rain we had on Tuesday Wednesday and Sunday. Monday and Tuesday were nice. Must have rained pretty good on Sunday afternoon, from what I heard. Don’t know about the rest of the week, but someone said not so humid and hot and maybe rain showers. I think we’ve had enough rain.
From Thursday through Saturday, Bob and I were in Richmondville, NY, where my sister, Karen Davis and her partner, Dale Case, rented a summer home. They decided to have a family reunion, so all six of my siblings were able to be there. That included Donna, Troy, Michigan; Betty, Victoria, TX; James, Pine Bush, NY; Margi, Palmyra, VA; Karen, The Villages, FL; and Barb, Valrica, FL. Also able to come to the reunion included Kimberly Roth, Jacksonville, FL; Ann Roth, CT; Michele Roth, NY. They are the daughters of my deceased sister, Sandy. Also included were cousins, Gary and Sue Davis; Phil and Kathy Davis; and Stanley and Mary France. There was niece, Angie Decatur and her partner, Ali Mitchell; nephew, Pete, Melanie and Jackson Northrup. We all had such a great time visiting, eating and visiting some more. Some games were played; lots of pictures taken and some old pictures were passed around; and lots of fun around the fireplace making Smores. Looking forward to another reunion next year.

I guess that’s it. Enjoy your week. I heard it’s to be a little less humid, but rain in the forecast. Can’t do anything about it. Mother Nature doesn’t seem to listen to us. Have news, call me at 570-928-9238; mail me; see me; or e-mail me at news@lopezpa.com. I’ll get it in for you. Thanks for reading and I’ll be here next time.
