As I sit here at the computer on Sunday evening, at 7 p.m., typing my news, it is a whopping 7 degrees and with the wind chill, must be way below zero. That wind is just whipping around and sounds like a big truck outside. It was 35 degrees early in the day, but then we had rain, then snow, so it all went downhill the rest of the day. I heard Monday was to be the coldest with temperatures way below zero and bitter cold. Warm up, maybe by Wednesday, but I did hear another storm coming Wednesday into Thursday. Have to see what Mother Nature will bring us. The neighbors did enjoy sledding on the hill across the street and had a pretty fast path going down the hill.

Wasn’t out much so don’t have a lot of news. I think I did see T.J., Alison, and Jase Lowden, along with Wesson, at their home on Church Street. They are from Marlton, NJ. They visited with his his parents, Ted and Mary, on Maple Terrace.
Happy Birthday to Mike Stavisky, (Alex’s son), down there in sunny FL, 24th; Owen Evans and Scott Aharonian, 27; Jennifer Pequignot-Laird, 28th; and Lisa and Jason Burke, 30th. Hope you all have a nice day.
Had a nice phone conversation with Alice Fedorchak the other day. She seems to be doing well in Montoursville, but does miss her friends here. She always tells me to say HI to everyone, so I’m doing that.
HINT: ” Research has discovered that sucking on zinc lozenges can reduce cold symptoms because the zinc attacks the cold virus living in the throat.” (This is good to know at this time of year with so many being bothered with colds).
Guess that’s it for now. Enjoy your week; it’s gonna be bitter COLD and very windy. Maybe just stay inside and look out the window. If you do go out, bundle up so you don’t get hit with frostbite. Have news call me at 570-928-9238; mail me; see me; or e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I’ll get it in for you. Thanks for reading. Keep sending the hints. I’m starting to run short. I’ll be here next time.
