Well, we can’t really complain too much about the weather. It’s been pretty nice, other than a few snow showers. Last I heard, the weather next week is to be “iffy” on Tues. and Wed. with some icy mix, turning to snow showers. Then, the 12th to the 18th is to be above normal temperatures. That a little far in advance, so we’ll see. Maybe Phil, the Groundhog, will be wrong and we’ll have an early Spring. Time will tell, but I’d go for that.
Sympathy from the community to the relatives, family and many, many friends of Mrs. Lucille Sick who passed away on January 31st. Such a pleasant lady, such a good friend to all and she did so many things for her community. She will certainly be missed.
I imagine there were lots of Super Bowl parties on Sunday for the big game. We don’t do football, so no party, didn’t watch the game, and don’t even know who won. At least the weather was good for travel.

Bob Jr. and Tyler McGuire, Hunlock Creek, visited on Saturday with Bob, JoAnn and Brian McGuire and Nina Weslowski. All had a good time and hope to get together again soon. We all congratulated Tyler on making the President’s List at Lake-Lehman Jr./Sr. High School, where he is in 10th grade.
