We sure do have crazy weather. Below zero a few days and with the wind chill, it was horrible. Kids had a couple of days off school because of icy roads and frigid temperatures. Was minus 7 degrees on Saturday and really cold and windy. Sunday was a better day when, in the afternoon, the temperature went up to a “balmy” 46 degrees. For us, that is “balmy”. I heard the week is to be pretty quiet with temperatures in the 50’s and maybe a little rain. Since Phil didn’t see his shadow, an early Spring is predicted. Let’s see if that is true.
Joe and Diane Fanning, along with Molly, Landenberg, spent a few days at their home here. Just had a little snow removal to do. The deer seem to know when they are home. I guess they see the truck and know that corn will be out for them. They enjoyed dinner at Colley Pub on Saturday evening.
Winterfest is fast approaching. Will be Saturday, February 16th. Will be held snow or no snow. Lots of fun activities, especially the Polar Plunge. Sully has lots of information in last week’s paper and I’m sure there will be more, or check it out on sckiwanis.com for more information.
Finally getting over our colds. They just seem to hang on. Hope you all aren’t bothered with colds or flu. We went to Forty Fort on Friday and visited Bob’s sister, Lola and Mike Mattie; and his niece, Georgia, Michael and Mcguire Martin.
