The weather last week was up and down with temperatures as low as 4 degrees and as high as 54 degrees. Early Monday, it was 28 degrees and got up to 54 degrees and stayed until late in the day. Saturday it was down to 12 degrees and didn’t go up past 21 degrees all day. Sunday morning it was 4 degrees early, with a good frost sparkling on all the tree branches. Sure would be nice to warm up and stay warm.
Mother Nature wasn’t very nice with all the warm weather and rain. Because of that, the Eagles Mere toboggan slide cannot be built this year. That’s really too bad as it was a major fund raiser for the Fire Company and so many people came from all of the world to enjoy the slide. Maybe next year.

You know, when you don’t have a dog and you have to clean up after someone else’s dog, it’s not a fun thing to do. So, please, if you walk your dog, please clean up after it, or keep it in your own yard. Have heard from numerous folks of this happening.
Happy Birthday wishes to Khloie Bahr, 19th; and Clair Johnson, II, 20th. Hope you both have a nice day.
HINT: For those of you bothered with asthma, it’s been proven that orange juice helps reduce the number of asthma attacks, if you drink quite a lot. Or, increase your Vitamin C intake. A study done shows improvement in lung function following the increased Vitamin C intake to help reduce bronchospasms or bronchial constriction. Increased Vitamin C is also good this time of year with the colds going around. Guess you just have to try it and see if it works for you.

Don’t think I have anything else to report. Enjoy your week; won’t be too miserable, I don’t think. Get out and enjoy the fresh, brisk air while you can. May be some snow on the horizon, but I heard no big storms. Let’s hope that’s right. Have news, call me at 570-928-9238; mail me; see me; or e-mail me at news@lopezpa.com. I’ll get it in for you. I’ll be here next time and thanks for reading. I need some new hints, so if you have any, please e-mail them to me.
