Had some pretty cold temperatures when it got down to single digits early in the morning We did have some pretty warm temperatures too. On Friday it was quite nice and got up to 48 degrees with some nice sunshine. Saturday was a bummer with flurries, wind and cold. What a difference in the two days. We are to get some rainy days now with warmer temperatures and maybe even a few snow showers. Where is the nice weather we were supposed to get? Maybe coming, but when?? I haven’t seen any deer, turkey, robins and no buds popping up through the ground.
Had a nice visit on Saturday with Bill and Linda Pfeiffer, from Hughesville.
Thank you to Ron and Karen Macort, Lansdale for their donation to Cold Spring.

You can make homemade hand wash by mixing 1/2 cup baby oil with 1/2 cup water and 1/4 cup Epsom salts and a few drops of your favorite essential oil Set this mixture next to your bathroom sink for a nice hand wash. Smells good too.
There are still things going on around the County so keep an eye on the Sully and Face Book to see what may interest you. Restaurants and bars always have good meals to tempt you. Support the local businesses. They will appreciate it.
Time to think of gardens and flower beds? Catalogs are coming in the mail and tempting you to start thinking of those things you may want in the Spring and Summer. Maybe by looking, it will bring the warmer weather closer. Guess we just have to wait and hope Mother Nature will co-operate with us very soon.
I think that’s it for now. Enjoy your week. May need the boots and umbrella but do get out an enjoy, if you can. Don’t think you’ll need the snow shovel. Have news, give me a call at 570-928-9238; mail me; see me; or e-mail me at news@lopezpa.com. I will get it in for you. Thanks for reading and I’ll be here next time.
