Hope you all enjoyed your President’s Day holiday.  Sure was a cold day on Sunday morning when the temperature was only 8 degrees.  Very windy, but the sun made it look nice, from inside.  We did have some snow Friday night into Saturday.  From all the photos and talking to folks, I guess the Wine and Chocolate Walk in Dushore on Saturday was very well attended, despite the weather.  Check out DABA on Face Book to see what all went on.  Seems like the weather is going to be kind of calm for the week now, but it can change in the blink of an eye.  It’s so windy and  I’m really ready for warmer weather to come and stay.   I’ve seen reports of buds poking up through the ground and robins out and about.  I haven’t seen that, but did see one lonesome deer in the field.  Haven’t even seen turkeys for quite some time.  We do have a few birds at the feeders, but not like we usually do.  Spring is on the way, I’m sure of it.  Just don’t know when.  Hopefully, everyone is well and the flu bug and viruses are on the way out.

Keep an eye on the Sully and Face Book for things that may be going on in the coming weeks.  May be something of interest.

Here’s an easy way to make deviled eggs:  Put cooked egg yolks in a zip lock bag.  Seal, mash until they are all broken up.  Add remainder of ingredients, reseal, keep mashing thoroughly.  Cut the tip of the bag, squeeze mixture into the egg whites.  Just throw the bag away when done.  Easy clean up.

Before we know it, the month of February will be over and we’ll be into March and cold, snowy weather will be out of here by the end of the month.  Time to start thinking of gardens and flower beds for the Spring time.
