Had some really cold temperatures during last week, along with some rain, some sun and some really hot temperatures that hit the 50’s. No snow yet early Monday morning. How much will we get? Your guess is as good as mine. Check it out on Tuesday and see what we did get. There are so many predictions, from 2-18 inches, so we will see what Mother Nature decides to give us. Hope it’s on the lower end. Then, I heard it’s back to the 30 degree mark for the rest of the week. Hopefully, this will be the last storm of the season. I know some have seen robins, geese coming back and certain buds pushing up through the ground. I have not, but hope that’s a good sign.
Mark your calendar. The 54th annual Che-Hanna Rock and Mineral show will be held on the 23rd and 24th of March. Saturday from 9-5 and Sunday from 10-4. This is held at the Wysox Fire Hall. There will be educational displays, geode cutting, cabachon making, mini-mine for the kids, dealers with all kinds of mineral related things they will be selling. UVBOB will be doing fluorescent mineral programs both days and food is available for purchase. Questions, give Bob a call at 570-928-9238. Check it out, also, on Face Book to see clips from other years as to what you’ll find. Hope to see you there.
Happy Birthday to Haley Latch, 15th; Allison Lowden, 17th; Tim Brown, 17th; Khloie Bahr, 19th; and Clair Johnson II, 20th. Have a good day, all of you.

Happy Valentine’s day to all. Hope you have a great day with loved ones.
To get rid of fruit flies, take a small glass, fill it half full with apple cider vinegar and 2 drops of dish washing liquid Mix well The fruit flies will be drawn to the glass and gone forever.
I know there is still some kind of flu bug going around. Hope it doesn’t hit you. It’s no fun and can last from two days to a couple weeks before you feel really better. It hit me a couple days last week.
Keep a check on the Sully and Face Book for events going on that you may be interested in. There is usually something to spark your desire to take these events in. I guess that’s about it. Maybe with the nicer weather on the horizon, I will see more folks out and about. Will be time to start yard work soon and think about planting that garden.
Have news give me a call at 570-929-9238; mail me; see me; or e-mail me at news@lopezpa.com. I will get it in for you. Thanks for reading and I’ll be here next time.
