Woke up to 16 degrees early Sunday morning, but the sun was out really nice.  By 11 a.m. it was 35 degrees already and last I looked it was 43 degrees and still sunny.  Nice to see.  Bring on the nicer weather.  From what I’ve heard, the week is to be quite nice.   Sorry to hear the Eagles Mere toboggan slide will not take place again this year.  That’s a major fund raiser for them and this is the 10th year it hasn’t been able to be done.

Forgot a couple of birthdays last week.  Happy Belated Birthday to Tyler McGuire on Ground Hog Day, the 2nd and to Dee Whatley on the 4th.  Hope you both had a nice day.

Up-coming birthdays include Alex Aharonian, 11th; Lisa Williams, 13th; and Tommy Van Dyke and Crystal Vermeire, on the 14th, which is also Valentine’s Day.  Have a great day.

Civic meeting will be coming up in March.  Make note that it will be on Wednesday, March 20th, 6 p.m. at the Township Building.

The 54th annual Che-Hanna Rock and Mineral show is coming up the 23rd and 24th of March.  Check out Face Book to see what it’s all about.  Something for both kids and adults.  Hope to see you there.

There will probably be activities going on around so keep watch in the Sully and on Face Book to see if something interests you.  As always, there’s lots of places offering good food.  

Something to try:  Epsom salts makes a great deep conditioner to add volume and remove grease from your hair.  Combine equal parts of hair conditioner and Epsom salts and apply liberally to hair.  Let sit for 20 minutes, then rinse clean.
