Hope you all had a nice weekend. Bob and I went to Johnson
City, NY, for the weekend to the Southern Tier Gem and Mineral Show
where he did the fluorescent mineral programs. The weather on Friday
was really strange. There was wet snow, wind and very cold. Saturday
was much nicer and Sunday nicer yet. There was a good crowd and we
had an enjoyable time. Haven’t heard much of the weather for this
week, but now it’s sunny and there is a warm breeze. Time to keep this
kind of weather.
Irene Pequignot, Linden, spent the weekend at her home on Church
Street and said the weather was nice for a change.
Since I wasn’t home, I don’t really have much news.
St. Vladimirs Church has pierogies for sale. To order, call 570-928-1099.
Happy Birthday wishes to John Risser, 12th; Joyce Walsh, 13th;
Kristin Iwancio, 15th; Pat Burd and Carole (Fedorchak) Underwood,
17th. Hope you all have a nice day.
Happy Anniversary to Sheldon and Penny Sperry as they celebrate
on the 13th; and Micheal and Georgia (Mattie) Martin, 15th. Have a good day.
Brian McGuire and Nina Weslowski, spent the weekend in Allentown
with her parents, Gerry and Paula Weslowski, and helped her mother
celebrate her birthday.
Guess that’s the news for now. Enjoy your week. I think it will
be nice. Have news, call me at 570-928-9238; mail me; see me; or
e-mail me at news@lopezpa.com. I’ll get it in for you. Thanks for
reading and I’ll be here next time.
