Gee! Cooler temperatures are on the way, I guess. We had one day of 41 degrees and one day of 37 degrees early in the morning. It did warm up nicely. We did have some rain. Hopefully, we will get some Indian summer to enjoy yet.
Adel was in from West Chester to enjoy a few days at her home on Church Street.
St. Vladimir’s Church has pierogies for sale, the first and third Sunday of the month. May be picked up at the Church Hall from Noon to 1 p..m. Call 570-928-8909 to place your order.
Sympathy to the family of Bernice (Yonkin) Bushofsky, wife of Jack, who passed away recently in Arizona. She was a cousin to Roseanne Lukachik.
Next Civic meeting October 20th, 6 p.m. at the Pavilion. If too cold, it will be held at the Township Building. Membership dues are now due. See Heather McDonald to renew or to join.
If you want to have a fun evening, White Ash has a trap shoot every Tuesday at 6 p.m. Food is available and lots of “pew” “pew” going on. Check it out. Open to the public.
