Hope you’re all enjoying this rainy weather we’ve been having. Seems like it never ends. Had some pretty cold mornings too with frost and heavy due. Some days doesn’t warm up much at all. Guess we should feel lucky as some places are having really bad weather. So, we have to take what we get, but I’m still hoping for Indian summer soon.

The Che-Hanna Rock and Mineral Show is coming up this weekend, the 9th and 10th. It’s held at the Wysox Volunteer Fire Hall. Saturday is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a mini mine for the kids; buy a geode and have it cut open and see what sparkles inside. There will be many dealers with lots of minerals to sell. There will be an educational area to learn about rocks and minerals. Hope to see you there. Check the Che-Hanna website and see some videos of the show.
Sorry to hear that Dushore Market has closed. Good luck to Andy Bohensy in his future endeavors. He is a nice man, with always a smile and kind words to anyone he met. It was a good four years, but things change. Hopefully someone will take over the business and keep it going.
