Was a cold weekend with snow flurries on Sunday and the wind just doesn’t seem to stop blowing. Temperature would go up quite nicely is the wind died down. I think Mother Nature is on vacation and doesn’t realize she’s to give us nice weather now. Sure hope Spring is coming soon or we’ll be back to cold weather already. Hopefully, by Easter it will be nice and stay nice after that. I heard that it’s to be in the high 50’s during the week, but we’ll see.
Grandparents Brandan and Robyne McCobin would like to announce that Gianna Mae DiRocco has a new sister, Emilia Ann, born February 13th at 7:03 a.m.
The 49th annual Che-Hanna Gem and Mineral Show was held over the weekend at the Wysox Volunteer Fire Company. It was very well attended and was a great success. Thanks to all who came; even saw some Sullivan County folks there. Look forward to seeing you all again next year.
Easter Sunday and April Fool’s Day is the same day this year, but don’t do any pranks, it’s not fun. Hope the Easter bunny is good to you and brings you some goodies in the basket.
HINT: “Want to avoid a terrible headache? Eat a few cucumber slices before going to bed and wake up refreshed and headache free. Cucumbers contain enough sugar, B vitamins and electrolytes to replenish essential nutrients the body lost, keeping everything in equilibrium, avoiding the headache.” (This sounds bogus, but I just might try it next time I have a headache.)
B’s gang says “Happy Birthday” to Tim Higley who celebrates his big day…..guess when…….April Fool’s Day. Have a super day, Tim.
Guess that’s the news for now. Enjoy your week, especially if we do get some warmer weather. Have news call me at 570-928-9238; mail me; see me; or e-mail me at news@lopezpa.com. I’ll get it in for you. Thanks for reading and I’ll be here next time.
