Hope you all had an enjoyable Father’s Day weekend. Our weather for the week was pretty nice and we did get some much needed rain. Made the grass shoot right up and helped with the gardens and flower beds. May need a little more slow, steady rain to help too. Last I heard, we are to have rain a few days this week, but we’ll see if that does happen. We are always blessed with the wind and we had quite a lot of that. Very gusty at times.
Are birds going to be bothering your tomatoes when they are ripening? Hang a few red Christmas balls on your plants. They peck at the red ball and leave the green tomatoes alone. They get tired of that so just leave. Hope this is true.

Thanks to all who have donated to get this project done. It’s very much appreciated. We’ve had so many people tell us they’ve used that water for many years.
