Hope you all enjoyed another nice week of good weather. We did have one day of rain, but it didn’t last long. Always pours, then quits, the sun comes out and it gets hot. Good time to get some camping, swimming and picnics in. The gardens are looking nice and starting to produce some good veggies. Flower beds and hanging baskets are doing really well too.
Mike, Heather, Kaeleigh and Kyleigh McDonald took advantage of the weather and had fun camping for a few days. Had fires, enjoyed the creek and just to get away was nice.
Bob Jr. and Tyler McGuire visited with us, his brother, Brian, and Nina Weslowski on Sunday.
It was such a nice evening on Saturday, we sat out late and did hot dogs over the fire on a fork. Was so quiet and calm.
Thanks to Jason for the nice display of fireworks on Saturday. We could see them from our upstairs window.
Since there are not many activities and things going on due to this virus junk, I don’t have a lot of news. Folks are kinda staying close to home and going out when necessary. Gotta do what you gotta do. Practice social distancing, wear a mask, keep away from people if you’re sick or they’re sick. Most of all…..WASH YOUR HANDS OFTEN.
Alex and Ginny Stavisky and Ted and Faye Puzo are spending some time at their homes here. Enjoying the nice weather and taking rides on their golf carts.
Next Civic meeting will be on WED. August 19th, 6 p.m. at the Pavilion. We would like to get some more interested in joining the Civic, for only $1.00 and help with ideas and projects. We do have t-shirts, hoodies, koozies and a couple license plates for sale. If interested, contact me. If you have any ideas for a fund raiser, let us know. With no Old Home Day, our funds are running low.
Happy Birthday to Stephen Mikolajczyk and Sherill Dayton, August 4th; Kyle Froese and Kathy Lebo, 9th. Have a nice day.
I think the weather for the week, from what I heard, is to be hot and humid again, with temperatures in the 90’s. Time to turn the air conditioner on, get in the pool or go to the creek.
Geez. That’s about it. Hopefully soon more folks will be able to come to their homes, cabins and campgrounds to enjoy some summer time weather. Have news call me at 570-928-9238; mail me; see me; or e-mail me at news@lopezpa.com. I will get it in for you.
