Well, it’s Sunday about 4 p.m. and hasn’t starting snowing yet. I’m hoping it’s going to track a different way and leave us alone. I did hear it’s supposed to warm up and be nicer on Tuesday and the rest of the week. We had Minus 11 degrees Sunday morning. Guess we have to put up with this for a while yet and then it’ll be Spring. Yippee!
I think St. Vladimir’s Church still has pierogies for sale the first and third Sunday of the month. They can be picked up at the Church Hall from Noon to 1 p.m. To order, call 570-928-8909.
Irene Pequignot, Linden, spent Saturday at her home here and stopped by to visit us. Was nice to see her since all this Covid stuff is going on. Some people still stay pretty close to home, even if they are vaccinated. I guess we still do have to follow protocol for a time yet Don’t know if it’ll ever be over. I know that it will never be the same.
Guess there still might be a few activities going on in the County, so keep an eye on the Sully to find out events you might be interested. There is also a lot of things posted on Face Book too.
Happy Birthday to Adel Bradshaw, 20th; Jim Rouse, 21st; Irene Pequignot, 22nd; Hope you all have a good day.
Happy Anniversary to Alex and Ginny Stavisky; 22nd; and Al and Jeannie Kapler, 23rd. Congrats and many more.
Don’t have much to report. Haven’t been out too much so haven’t seen any folks out and about either. The big thing right now is if we’re going to get that snow storm; how much will we get; and when will it be over with. I guess time will tell. Pretty good snow falling at 6 p.m. Sunday evening. Who knows how much we’ll get.
Can’t think of anything else to report. Enjoy your week. May need to get out the shovel or broom….or even the snow blower. Have news call me at 570-928-9238; mail me; see me; or e-mail me at news@lopezpa.com. I will get it in for you. Please call early Sunday evening to be sure I get it in time. Thanks for reading and I’ll be next time.
