Hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving with family and friends. It’s getting to look more like winter with the cold and the first real snowfall we had. On Saturday there was a couple inches of snow. Enough to shovel and plow. Don’t look for much nice weather now. Supposed to be cloudy most of the week.
The Fenster families enjoyed some time at their home on Church Street over the Thanksgiving holiday.
St. Vladimir’s Church has pierogies for sale the first and third Sunday of the month. Call 570-928-8909 to order yours. They can be picked up at the Church Hall from Noon to 1 p.m.
I guess it’s hunting season. Good luck hunters and hope you get what you go out for. Stay safe in the woods.
Brian McGuire and Nina Weslowski spent the weekend in Allentown visiting her parents, Gerry and Paula and her brother Paul and friend Chris.
Gee, don’t have too much to report. Guess folks aren’t getting out like they used to with all this flu and virus stuff going around.
Birthday wishes this week to Kevin Partington on the 4th. Have a good day.
There are still activities going on around the County, so keep an eye on the Sully to see if there is something you may be interested in.
That’s it for now. Enjoy your week, whatever you do. Still not too bad to get out and take a nice walk. If you have news, call me at 570-928-9238; mail me; see me or e-mail me at news@lopezpa.com, before 6 p.m. on Sunday evening. I will get it in for you. Thanks for reading and I’ll be here next time.
