Hope you all made it through the week. This virus is something else. Hopefully it will be over with soon. We just have to abide by the rules and hope for the best. The weather wasn’t too bad for the week. Lows were in the mid 30’s with warm-up into the 50’s, which was nice. Saturday we did have pouring rain and wind. Sunday, early morning, woke up to pouring rain, thunder and lightning, but didn’t last all that long. Drizzled on and off during the day. Let’s hope better weather is on the way and this virus is gone.
St. Vladimir’s Church has pierogies and halupki for sale the second and fourth Sunday of the month. Available at the Church Hall from Noon to 1 p.m. Stop by and pick up yours.
Don’t see many people out and about as there is really no place to go Best way to keep in touch is by phone or internet. Call a neighbor or friend, especially if they live alone, and just visit for a while to make sure they are ok. They’d probably appreciate the call.
I’ve seen quite a few turkeys across the road in the field. One day there were two males just a struttin their stuff. Had their chests puffed out and their feathers all fanned. Guess they were checking out all the females in the field.
We do have a lot of birds at our feeders and they are neat to watch. The chipmunks are back and looking for treats.
Hopefully by the time you want to get plants and flowers, you’ll be able to go for those things and not worry about viruses. Social distancing will be a thing of the past.
Happy Birthday wishes to send out to Shawn Pequignot, 6th; and Jaron Williams, 11th. Have a nice day.
