Had a nice few days and many days of rain, wind, cold and some snow flurries. Lots of early morning frosts. It did get up to fifty degrees a couple of days. Weather is changing and I think winter will be here to stay. Looks like cold weather most of the week with some snow on the way. Guess we just have to take it and hope it doesn’t get too bad. There are reports of a cold winter; lots of snow; not much snow. We just have to wait and see. The birds are sure enjoying the bird feed and suet feeder.
Are you bothered with SAD? What is SAD, you ask. Well, I’ll tell you. It’s Seasonal Affective Disorder and the Mayo Clinic describes it as a type of depression that’s related to changes in seasons, beginning in the fall and continues into the winter, sapping energy and making a person feel moody. Make daylight hours count and hope you all get through the winter with no problems.
