Guess Mother Nature doesn’t want winter to end yet. Most of the week was wintry with four inches of snow on Monday; three days of below zero temperatures. Sunday was a little more snow and Mike, Kaeleigh and Kyleigh enjoyed sledding on the hill across the street. Was a good trail and went pretty fast. Of course the wind was always blowing and made it seem colder than it was. The week is to warm up by Thursday, with temperatures in the forties and fifties, but may have some rain included. Everyone I’ve talked to is so ready for warm, sunny weather. Hope you all remembered to turn your clocks ahead before going to bed on Saturday evening.
St. Vladimir’s Church has pierogies for sale. To order call 570-928-1099.
Get well wishes to Sally Houseknecht who isn’t up to par right now. She’s feeling much better and hope she continues on her road to recovery.
Irene Pequignot, Linden, spent the weekend at her home on Church Street.

Get well wishes go out to Tim Brown who had recent surgery and is recovering nicely. I guess I can say Get Well to anyone who has been bothered with the cold or flu and hope the nicer weather will make everyone feel better. I think everyone is looking forward to getting gardens and flower beds started.
