Had a pretty fair week with not too much rain. Had some nice, sunny
days. The next week is to be fair, from what I’ve been hearing. Hope so.
Sympathy from the community to the Ron Calaman family, relatives,
and friends on his passing on the 16th. Funeral was held on the 24th,
with burial at St. Basil’s cemetery.
NOTE A DATE CHANGE; Due to another commitment, the next
Civic meeting will be held on Wednesday, the 25th of August, rather
than the 18th. 6 p.m. at the Pavilion.
Congratulations to Andrea (Matychak) Anderson on her wedding
to Vince Carbone, on the 24th, in Lititz, PA. Was a beautiful day
for a wedding with family and friends.
Mark and Lisa Fenster, along with grandkids, Eva and Lillie Lopez,
all from Philly area, spent the weekend at their home on Church Street.
Bob and I attended his 61st class reunion, from Forty Fort High School,
on Friday, held at Holiday Inn in Wilkes-Barre. Was a nice gathering and
fun visiting and the food was good too.
Happy Birthday to Stephen Mikolajczyk, August 4th; and Sherill Dayton,
also on the 4th. Have a nice day.
Hope everyone is doing well and getting out and about more each day.
Heard a noise and looked out the window and it’s just starting to rain as
