Well, was raining on Memorial Day, so hope you had your umbrellas handy to attend any of the parades you wanted to. Hope you all enjoyed the Holiday, despite the rainy days. Sunday was the better day of the weekend. We can still think of those who sacrificed their all to keep us FREE. Been watching the blue birds as they go in and out of their nests. We have two families and hopefully, soon, there will be babies. Better weather has to be on the way. It’s getting time to get the flowers and garden plants ready. Pool time will be on the way too, if it warms up and stays rain free.
Gerry and Paula Weslowski, Allentown, spent the Holiday with daughter, Nina Weslowski and Brian McGuire. Had an enjoyable time, even if it wasn’t the best weather.
Happy Birthday to Bruno Day, 31st. Have a nice day.
Happy Anniversary to Joe and Diane Fanning, 28th; and Joyce and Jack Walsh, 29th. Have a super day and many more.
There was a lot of activity over the weekend at Tent City. I think every camper there was occupied. They always have a great time when they are here.
When something spills or cooks over in your oven–just sprinkle salt immediately. When the oven is cool, use your pancake flipper and pick up the pile of burned “goop”. Wipe with a damp sponge. (Good idea. Happens to me quite often.)
There will be many things going on around Sullivan County, so keep your eye on the Sully for those events you may be interested in. Shop local and support all the businesses here.
Nothing else to report, so enjoy your week, whatever your plans. Have news, call me at 570-928-9238; mail me; see me; or e-mail me at news@lopezpa.com. I will get it in for you.
