I thought, weather wise, it was to spring ahead. It hasn’t been doing very well. Saturday was pouring rain all day and Sunday’s early morning temperature was only 37 degrees. We did have a few days that were sunny and warm. I see frost in the forecast and cool temperatures. Keep the heavy coat handy and the heat on. But……trust me………….it will warm up.
Team Dad and Mom, Allentown, spent the weekend with Nina Weslowski and Brian McGuire. Saturday was not a good day, but Sunday was much better. They always have a nice time, no matter the weather.
Hope everyone is doing well and the “bugs” are not bothering you. Ticks and gnats are already pretty bad so be aware. Have you seen any humming birds yet? Maybe a little too early or they turned around and went to warmer weather. Someone mentioned usually by Mother’s Day they arrive. We shall see.
Happy Birthday for the first part of May to Kyler and Paige Burke, 1st; JoAnn Day, 2nd; and Ken Pochatko, 6th. Have a nice day.
Keep an eye on the Sully for new events that will be coming up. You may find something to “spark” your interest.
If you have folks visiting or would like something in my news, please let me know by 6 p.m. on Sunday evening by calling 570-928-9238; mail me at P.O. Box 224, Lopez, PA 18628; or email at news@lopezpa.com. I will get your news in for others to read.
That’s all for now. Enjoy your week, whatever you might get into doing. Thanks for reading and I’ll be here next time.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
