We had some warm weather three days during the week when the temperatures hit the 40+ degree mark.

The Eagles Mere toboggan slide did not run for the weekend.  The weather did not cooperate and it was not cold enough.  Maybe this weekend, if it gets cold enough.  Saturday and Sunday was snow off an on.   It melted, then it snowed and melted again.  Don’t know what the total will be by Monday.  There is a warning until 1 p.m. Monday afternoon.  Will have to wait and see.  Never know what Mother Nature is going to give us next.  Hopefully warmer weather is on the way and to stay.  (Just getting ready to send my news on Sunday evening, late, and look out and see it snowing pretty good.  May get an accumulation by morning.)

The Che-Hanna Gem and Mineral show is coming up the 28th and 29th of March.  Watch for an article in the Sully as to what, where, when and all the good stuff to see and take part in.  Always a good show and hope to see you there.

Brian McGuire and Nina Weslowski spent Valentine’s Day weekend touring the Canadian side of Niagara Falls.  Got some really nice pictures and had a great time while they were there.

When you buy food seasonings, condiments, grated cheese, etc. in jars that have the perforated plastic tops, save the empty bottles.  Wash and let dry thoroughly.  Fill with flour and use this to sprinkle meats or make gravy.  They are also good for the bathroom when filled with bath salts or cleaning powders for the tub and basin.  They can be spray painted or decorated to your taste.  Can be used for kids in the sand box also.  Lots of different uses.

Keep an eye on the Sully for events that will be coming up.  There may be something “to catch your eye” that you might be interested in.
