We had a little bit of a warm-up on Wednesday and Thursday, which was nice. Is this “the calm before the storm”? I hope not. I did hear we may get a snow storm on Christmas Day. We had some bitter cold temperatures during the week also.
Happy Birthday, to round out 2025 to Kaeleigh McDonald, 23rd; Lillie Ann Bahr, 23rd; and Ginny Stavisky, 31st. Have a nice day.
Also some birthday wishes to bring in 2026: Jeannie Kapler, January 4th; Alex Stavisky, in warm Florida, 4th; Matt Weisbrod, 6th; Linda Santarelli, 7th; and John McDonald, Jr., 9th. Hope you all have a nice birthday a good year ahead.
Happy Anniversary to Ted and Linda Beaver on their big day on the 12th. Many more good years ahead.
A great time was had at the annual Lopez Christmas party, sponsored by the Civic Associaton. A special appearance by the Grinch, Rudolph, and of course Santa, thrilled the children. A special thank you to all the volunteers who helped make it a fun party. If you would like to be a member of the Civic Association, call Kathy at 610-413-6439.
Hope you all have your shopping done. Traffic is getting heavy in a lot of areas, probably doing last minute gift shopping. Hardly seems possible the year has gone by so fast.
This is my last column for 2025. Thanks to all for giving me news and for comments I’ve received along the way.
MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR from my house to your house.
Thanks to the Sully staff for allowing me to put my thoughts on paper each week. Hope they have some well deserved time off to celebrate with family and not have to worry about “deadlines”. See you in January. Enjoy! Enjoy! Santa is watching!!
