Winter is making an appearance. The cold, windy, snowy weather is upon us. We do have some sun but when it’s so cold, the sun doesn’t help a whole lot. The hunters like the snow we had so they can drag their deer out of the woods much easier. Good luck hunters. I see there is more snow in the forecast, but it’s to be expected. Hope you all are doing well with no flu, colds, or viruses that may be going around.
Sympathy from the community to the family, relatives and friends of Elaine Delovich who passed away on the 23rd of November.
To correct lumpy gravy, blend a little salt in the flour before adding the water. (HOT DAMN. I tried it and it WORKED.)
Happy Birthday wises to Noah Brown, 14th; and to Carter Vermiere and Austin Stavisky, both on the 17th. Hope you all have a nice day.
Got your shopping all done; got your tree decorated; you still have a little time. Santa will be watching all the little boys and girls, and some adults, to see if you’ve been naughty or nice. Hope he gets a good report. Christmas will be here in the blink of an eye. Hardly seems possible that 2025 is almost over.
Nina Weslowski spent the weekend in Allentown with her parents, Gerry and Paula Weslowski and some friends. Enjoyed some shopping while she was there.
Bob and I attended the Che-Hanna Christmas party on Friday, the 5th, held at Oliver’s Pub and Grill in Wysox. It was a fun time, excellent food and staff, and lots of remembering the good times from the year we are leaving.
Be sure to keep an eye on the Sully for things that will be coming up in the future. There may be something of interest to you. I see there are many shops and stores that have some pretty nice, unique gifts for anyone on your list.
Guess that’s it for now. Enjoy your week. Might have to bundle up some days. Just think, “Spring is just around the corner”.
