Hope you all had an enjoyable Thanksgiving with family and friends. Was a pretty nice Holiday.
We’ve been having some pretty cold weather, but must remember it is December and winter time is upon us.
I’ve heard predictions for 5-8 inches of snow on Tuesday, but we will see it it materializes. I’d rather not have any.
The hunters are out and about, so be aware of where they are. Good luck to all and hope you bag your deer.
There was a little bit of snow on the ground early Sunday morning, but I don’t think enough to drag the deer out of the woods, at least here in Lopez.
I hear that Covid is on the rise again and making the rounds. Hope you all are feeling good and not bothered by these viruses.
Happy Birthday to John Chapman, December 2nd; Kevin Partington, 4th; Elexus Dunkleberger, 6th; Robyn McCobin and Gabriel Williams, 8th; Aaron Risser, 9th; and Alexis Musani, 10th. Hope you all have a great day.
When cooking rice, add a spoonful of vinegar or lemon juice. It will be light, fluffy and separated. (I will have to try this. Mine is always one big “glob”.)
Congratulations to the following who made the Honor Roll:
Distinguished Honor: Reese Baton; Grayson Schiele; Miles Baton; Kyleigh McDonald; Izabella Capriotti; and Ruby Malkemes.
Honor Roll: Zander Kapler.
Keep up the good work.
Congratulations to Kaeleigh McDonald who was October Student of the Month. Well deserved. Great accomplishment.
I see Christmas decorations looking really pretty where I’ve been around. I’m sure there will be more as Christmas gets closer.
Thanks to those in the Civic Association who decorated by the monument. Looks really good and had some comments on how nice it looks when coming down the curve into town.
I think that’s it for now. Enjoy your week. Bundle up if you’re going out. That wind is miserable. Have news, give me a call at 982-9238; mail me (USPS); see me; or e-mail me at news@lopezpa.com. I will get it in for you. Thanks for reading and I’ll be here next time.
