Had some pretty frosty days and low 30 temperatures. Did warm up nicely. Saturday was a perfect day, but Sunday was rain all day. Hope the activities were able to be done on Sunday, between the rain drops. I’ve heard more rain for the week from that tropical storm.
Happy Birthday to Ken Smith, 17th; Marie Cikovic, 19th; and Aine Lee McDonald, 21st. Hope you all have a nice day.
Happy Anniversary to Ken and Teri Bullis as they celebrate on the 20th. Have a good day.
Have you gotten your pumpkins yet? I see there are a lot of places that have pumpkins that you can go and pick your own for a small fee. Good for yard decorations and for carving or painting for the up-coming Halloween. I’ve seen a lot of nice decorations with them as I walk around town. Get your costume ready for parties that will also be going on.
Civic meeting on Wednesday, October 20th, 6 p.m. at the Township Building.
Did you know if you have a wart, you can rub a piece of raw potato on it every day until it dries up?
Mike and Lola Mattie, Forty Fort, visited her brother, Bob and JoAnn McGuire on Saturday. Was a nice day for visiting; no rain.
Irene Pequignot, Linden, spent Sunday at her home here.
If you have a special hint that you’d like in my news, please let me know and I’ll get it in for you. Or, even if you have some news you’d like to share.
I guess I’m done for this week. Enjoy, whatever you may do. Might need your rain gear, but that’s ok. Have news, give me a call at 570-928-9238; mail me; see me; or e-mail me at webmaster@lopezpa.com. Will get it in. I’ll be here next time and thanks for reading.
