Getting some cooler temperatures.  Had frost on the 15th.  Had fog and some heavy rain at times on Thursday, Friday and Sunday.  Saturday was the best day for the many events that were going on around the County.  Hope you got to enjoy some of them.  Last I looked, it may (or may not) rain for most of the week.  We can hope it will be nice yet for a while.

Gardens are about “petered” out.  I think most did fairly well.  Hope you were able to can, freeze or just eat daily what you took from your garden.  Can’t beat having that stuff during the winter months.  Then, it’s start all over again next year.

Happy Anniversary to Dustin and Samantha Burke as they celebrate on the 28th.  Many more to you both.

Lots of folks like to make their tuna fish taste a little better.  After you have drained the tuna, grate an apple into the tuna, then add your mayonnaise.   Or, you can add the juice of two fresh lemons and add your mayonnaise.  You will be surprised at the taste.

I have a “very old” book of Heloise’s Housekeeping Hints that I try to find good hints in.  It’s hard, sometimes, as they are pretty old hints and the “newer” generation would not know  half of the things mentioned in the book.  They probably wouldn’t even know some terms that are mentioned.  But, I try my best.  If you have a favorite hint you’d like me to use, please let me know and I will put it in for you.

Keep an eye on the Sully for up-coming events that will be taking place around the County.  There may be something you’d be interested in and like to participate with.
