Still having that crazy type weather. Don’t know from day to day what it will do. Had some low temperatures and some high temperatures during the week. Sunday evening we had quite a down pour and some thunder. Sure hope Spring is on the way soon. Should be warmer for the week, but rain predicted.
A Very Special Find at the Annual Egg Hunt
“What started as an annual Easter egg hunt turned into a lifetime memory for Cindy Stavisky and Joseph Nelson. Surrounded by family and friends at their Kissimmee home on Saturday, March 21, the couple surprised their guests by exchanging wedding vows in an impromptu backyard ceremony.” Cindy is the Daughter of Alex & Virginia, long-time visitors to Lopez. Congratulations to the newly weds.
Barbara, down on Lilac Lane, returned from a fabulous ten day trip to Florida and North Carolina where she visited her son and all her grandchildren. Her grandson, Antonio, took excellent care of the house and animals while she was gone. Kudos to Antonio.
Che-Hanna Rock and Mineral Show coming up this weekend, the 28th and 29th. It is held at the Wysox Volunteer Fire Hall. Saturday show from 9 to 5 and Sunday show from 10 to 4. Y’all stop down and see what we have to offer. A nice little show with something for everyone. Food will be sold on the premises so you won’t go hungry. There will be a mini mine for the kids, geode cutting, cabachon making, educational displays and dealers with all kinds of “wares” for your buying needs. Hope to see you there.
Easter is on the horizon, with Palm Sunday being the 28th; Good Friday on the 3rd of April and Easter on the 5th of April. Hope you all have a Blessed Easter holiday.
Keep an eye on the Sully for things that will be coming up in the days ahead. Might be something you’d be interested in.
That’s it. Enjoy your week, whatever your decisions are. If it rains, I hope it stays warm enough so no “dandruff” will be falling. Have news, give me a call at 570-928-9238; mail me; see me; or e-mail me at news@lopezpa.com. I will get it in for you. Thanks for reading and I’ll be here next time.
